Picnic Anyone?

Hello Everyone,This morning I didn’t think that I would get any crafting done as I woke up with a horrible headache.
But I was able to rest for awhile and felt better so I decided to make a card.
I have been wanting to colour in Picnic Mae from Some Odd Girl for awhile now so I took the opportunity while the house was quite to do her up.

Picnic MaeI am really happy with how she turned out.  I think that I am improving with my colouring with Copics.  I am having so much fun with these markers.  I have no idea why I thought I could get the same results with other markers.  Also Copics are so easy to find even though they are more expensive than other markers they are so worth the investment.

Any way after my rant onto the card itself.
As I mentioned in the beginning this image is “Picnic Mae” and she is a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl.  I just love Some Odd Girl stamps but I have to say that the Mae images are definitely a favourite. But I have to admit that the others are definitely growing on me.

The path image behind Mae is from my card making computer program and I thought suited this Mae image well.  The tree and spotted papers are from docrafts creativity  “Woodland Folk” set which came as a freebie with an issue of Australian Papercraft Essesntials.  I have added from my stash as well some stick on pearl brads to the flags.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by my blog and looking at my creations.  To let me know that you stopped on by today why not leave me a comment below.  I love to hear what people think of my creations – feedback is how I improve my craft.  And finally my prayer for you is that you find yourself doing something you love.

Hugs & Blessings Always
