52CCT November Technique

Hello everyone, I am here with the last challenge for November 2019 for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge. And this means that a choice was made between hosting a Stash or a Technique Challenge and we get to play along with …

04 Technique

What a great challenge. I love to watercolour so when I saw this I was so happy 🙂 and this is the card that I came up with.

52CCT 11 2019 wk4 Technique

I just got a silhouette stamp set from the front of Creative Stamping magazine and these 4 images were a part of the set so I knew straight away that they would become a part of my watercolour card for this challenge. I stamped the images onto my watercolour panel but they didn’t stamp crisp. This didn’t bother me as I knew that I would be able to use my Sharpie pens after my watercolouring dried. So this is what I did and then I added a star above the manger and used my white gel pen to put stars in the sky.

I used black layering card for my layers and around the watercolour panel, I used my Black Sway Peel Offs from Love from Lizi. I also found a gold Merry Christmas sticker in my stash that was the correct size to fit below the panel and this finished my project off.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team project for 52CCT. I hope that you will come on over and see what the other design team member got up to this week. Plus also why not consider playing along with us this week. Before you leave my blog I would like to give you this thought to ponder on.

Christian t-shirts, tank tops and art prints for women. You are loved. Emily Burger Designs is now Blue Chair Blessing.

Until my next post,
May your life be blessed not stressed.
❤ Tracy
