Teddy Stocking

Hello everyone, this card is the last in the series of cards made for the Catch The Bug: Holiday Critter Chaos challenge. This challenge has been going on since the 14th of December.

And this card started with the Holiday Critter Chaos: 7th Day.

I didn’t realize that it mentions using the Bugaboo Freebie Critter. I hope that my card will still be acceptable for the challenge. I had printed out a whole bunch of critters at the beginning of the challenge and had been slowly colouring them in as I needed. And this very cute Teddy with his non-traditional coloured accessories was just waiting to jump onto a card. To tie my bow I used the fork trick and it worked quite well. But I am going to have to look for a fork with longer prongs – OP shop here I come 🙂

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I am happy that you stopped in on my blog today; before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Cards and Yarn

Hello everyone, today is day 6 of the Catch the Bug: Holiday Critter Chaos Challenge. And this time around its a colour challenge. And I just loved the combo that they chose.

This photo below made me so happy for a few different reasons. The colour combo is purple – which I LOVE!!. The photo is of yarn and when I am not making cards you can usually find me playing with yarn. I buy yarn from stores but I also spin my own as well. My card photo features a half spun bobbin of purple shaded yarn which I haven’t completed yet.

Bugaboo Holiday Critter Chaos Challenge Day 6 – Colour Challenge.

For my card, I used some bauble stamps from my collection and stamped them over the background in colours which were as close as I could get to the challenge colours. The polar bear with his scarf was coloured in with my copics. I was able to add the mustard yellow here as I didn’t have ink in this colour. I fussy cut the image but going closer near his hands and feet so that he could sit nearer to the sentiment sticker.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Day 6 Critter card. Before you depart I would like to leave you with this last thought for the post.

Meowy Christmas

Hello everyone, another card for the Holiday Critter Chaos happening over at the Catch the Bug Challenge blog. I am having so much fun playing with their critter images.

Bugaboo Holiday Critter Chaos Challenge Day 5 – Photo Inspiration

I used this image because it always puts a smile on my face and I know a few cat lovers who will enjoy receiving this next Christmas. It is so nice to be already working on my cards for next year I’m not usually this lucky to be getting ahead of things.

I decided to keep the card design pretty simple because I wanted the image to shine on the front of the card. These papers have been sitting at the bottom of my Christmas stash for I don’t know how long. I want to shout myself some new paper pads but I may be a little late now unless I pick up some in the post-Christmas sales 😉

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I am glad that you stopped by my blog; before you depart I want to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Critter Card 4

Hello everyone, I had fun colouring in this Ewe picture for my card today. I must admit that I think that my family thought I had gone mad because they could hear giggling going on while I was adding the sparkle 😀

Bugaboo Holiday Critter Challenge Day 4: Bingo Time

For my card, I used the Left Side Column – Glitter, 3 Layers, Tree

This card was a lot of fun to create. First, the colouring of the Ewe even though I went quite simple with it I liked the soft colours. Then trying to find all the elements for the bingo elements. Then deciding to colour in the Ewes hooves with pink glitter gave me the giggles and I think my family thought that I had lost it … finally! But we must always enjoy our creative process no matter who thinks we have gone crackers.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I am glad that you stopped by my blog; before you depart I would leave you with this final thought for this post.

Until my next post,
Have fun crafting something.

Tag Your It

Hello everyone, something a little different to share with you today. A tag instead of a card.

12-18-bug-critter-day-3.jpg

Why a tag and not a card like usual? Because of Day 3 of the Holiday Critter Chaos.

I love how this turned out. It was made so much easier with this cute penguin trio image. They are so adorable and I coloured them in my with my Copic markers and used some blue distress ink around them just to help not have such a stark tag.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my non-card project. I am glad that you stopped by my blog today; before you depart I would love to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Pick a Challenge

Hello everyone, I hope that you are having fun with our Pick a Challenge from 2019 December Challenge. I was having so much fun looking back on the cards that I made during the year that I decided that I would put a card in for the reminder post for our challenge.

Decemberpickaprevious

This time around I went back to March for the Colour Challenge which was White and Gold. I wasn’t 100% happy with what I had done for that challenge so I wanted to see what I could come up with this time around.

Even though this card is on the simpler side of things I am really pleased with how it turned out. I think that keeping the card design simple helped a lot. You have until Midnight Friday 27th December (GMT) to come and play along with our Challenge.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team card design. I hope that you will come and participate in the challenge. Before you depart from my blog I would like to leave you with this final thought for this post.
