July Technique and Stash Challenge

Hello everyone. Can you believe that we are at the end of July already. I think that when you are working ahead with design teamwork you realize how fast the year is going by. I mean we only have 5 months until Christmas is here.

This week is the Technique or Stash Challenge and we have a

I know that this said that it is a technique challenge but it could also be a stash challenge because we have to go hunting in our stash of sewing supplies if we wish to use real stitching. But I have done pen stitching around both the card base and the image.

I had a lot of fun with this cat sitting under the mistletoe image. I had been wanting to use her for quite a while. The size of the image panel was actually determined by the leftover piece of Christmas paper that I found in my stash – I liked it and I didn’t want to waste it and this card design was perfect for it.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and looking at my Design Team work for this week. I hope that you will stop on by 52 Christmas Card Throwdown and have a look at what the other designers have been up to. Before you go on over there though I would love to leave you with this final thought for this post.

Until my next post,
Be kind to yourself and others.

  3. Love the kitty under the mistletoe! Will you share the source of this image? I have a friend who is a big cat person and would love this herself. Thank you so much!

    1. Unfortunately, this image comes from a company that no longer exists. But if your friend is after Christmas Cat images I would go to Bugaboo Digital Stamps because Jodie has some adorable ones there.
