August Sketch Challenge with 52CCT

Hello everyone, can you believe that we are in August. Not many months left of this weird year that we have been experiencing. But we hope that as we have been bringing you these challenges that they have helped you keep busy with your crafting. So with it being the first week in August, we are up to a sketch. And here is the design that we get to craft with …

I didn’t make a square card as indicated in the sketch but that is the great thing with sketches you can stretch them and shrink them to fit your supplies 🙂

Do you know how hard it is to get the lighting right for a card with metallic elements; especially to make it look just right and have everything show up. Well, I couldn’t get it all no matter which way I placed the lights. The sentiment strip is actually washi tape sitting on some of the red metallic cardstock that is the same as the flag elements at the top. This is definitely a different card for me as it has no colouring on it but I was using up strips of Christmas paper from a paper pack that is almost done.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team work for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge this time around. I hope that you will pop on over to the blog and see what the other designers have been up too. Before you depart my blog though I would like to leave you with this thought for this post.
