52CCT November 2020 Theme Challenge

Hello everyone, can you believe that we are nearly at the end of November – I mean WOW where has this month disappeared to? But it is the 3rd week of the month and that means its Theme Challenge time over at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge. And the theme that has been chosen for us to use on our card make this week is …

03 Nov theme

This is an interesting one for me as I live in Australia and we do not have a Wintery Christmas – the closest thing that we get where I am is if we experience a hail storm then we can have a little bit of white stuff on the ground but its ice not snow. I have when I was little made a HailMan one Christmas when one such storm came through. But a lot of years if we are down on the beach we will make a SandMan with shells and a hat 😀 This year I think I will be seeking out Air Con if the weather we have already had is a preview of what is coming.

But lucky for me my computer came to the rescue and I found a wonderful image to use and this is the card that I made.

The papers that I used for this card are all from my off cuts drawer. It is so nice to find a use for these wonderful papers – I knew there was a reason for keeping these – see my dearest Hubby I did find a use for them 😉

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my Design Team project for the Theme Challenge over at the 52CCT. Please stop on by the blog and see what the other designers have been up to with this challenge and consider joining in on the making fun with us. Before you depart my blog though I would love to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Celebrate Christmas in summer (with 5 lb of fresh prawns and an afternoon foray to the beach)!
No matter how you are spending your Christmas and how it is outside; enjoy the company of the people around you and cherish this moment.

Until my next post,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.
❤ Tracy

  1. oh Tracy, c’est si charmant, ce n’est pas l’ambiance hivernale qui est présente dans ton pays pour les fêtes mais tu as bien su lui rendre justice, biz

  2. A beautiful card, on which you depicted a real winter and family idyll. I also like your sand snowman, of course we don’t put sand snowmen in this part of the world, and we don’t put snowmen anymore, because winters are snowless here too. But I agree, it doesn’t matter the weather or the snow but the people who are with you for the holidays.

  3. Tracy: your Christmas card is wintery and the glitter sparkle paper is a great accent. It’s like bright sunshine glistening on snow drifts! Wonderful Winterland!
