Card Project, Cards and Craft, Challenge Entry

Try Stampin no.560

Hello everyone. I was able to make some more cards and I loved the sketch over at Try Stampin (or not) On Tuesday that I followed the design.

I did follow this sketch almost fully. I did only add 3 circles as I like things in odd numbers as I think it is more pleasing and I also happen to have these 3 circles die cuts sitting on my desk. These are some of the last papers from the patterned paper pad I have been working through. This sketch was the perfect way to finish off some of the strips I had left after cutting card backgrounds. I think that I will keep this sketch in my box for use at both the beginning and end of a paper pad.

Because I was at the end of the patterned paper I used some chocolate brown shimmer lightweight cardstock for the background. I matted the background and flag with black lightweight cardstock and added Love From Lizi Pinstripe Stickers in black along the edge of the larger piece of patterned paper just to help give it some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card made using the sketch from TSOT. I hope that you will find yourself doing something creative.

Until my next post,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.
