This time around I am here to share with you a CAS Christmas Card.
I realized with all the dramas that have been going on in my life this year I am way behind on my Christmas Card making. I definitely do not want to end up with the bulk to do at the end of the year. So I jumped online to see what was happening at my favourite challenge sites.
I loved the sketch this week over at the CAS(E) this Sketch site and then I found that Christmas Cards all Year Round had a challenge to include flowers. So I dug through my stash of Christmas Supplies and found what I was looking for. And this is the card I came up with.
All of the supplies are from Kasiercraft Christmas Carol Paper set and Embellishments Pack. With the sketch I made it in Landscape and I loved this Poinsettia Wreath and the sentiment from the Embellishment Pack. Sometimes it is nice to craft simply but it was quite hard for me not to add more layers and stuff.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by my Blog to have a look at my project. I would really appreciate it if you would leave a like and even a comment. My wish for you is that you find time to do something that you truly love.
Until Next Time,

Christmas Card All Year Round – April 2017 – Flowers
Today I am sharing with you a more simple card for me. Not too many layers but a lot of stamping which was a whole heap of fun.
I have had some major stuff going on in my life; I was diagnosed with lung cancer in December 2016 and then on the 3rd of February, 2017 I lost this beautiful person
She lost her long battle with Parkinson’s Disease after fighting this horrible and life sapping disease for 9 years. And as you could have imagined I felt like not crafting.
After some months I have been crafting a little but what I would accomplish either got thrown in the bin or I would undo hours of work because I just didn’t like what I was crafting – which didn’t help the MOJO any.
But this afternoon I felt like doing something creative so I went online to find a couple of challenges I could follow. I find when I am just coming back into crafting following a challenge helps me to accomplish some stuff. I ended up creating this card
I am pleased with the results and I hope my friend likes it for her birthday.
So the challenges I am entering this card into are
The Color Throwdown Challenge #431 – Mint Green, Green, Plum and Light Brown
Case this Sketch #210
If I can just ask something of all of you – and that is – make time for those who mean something to you. You don’t know what tomorrow shall bring. Treasure each moment because it could be the last one you get.
Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my project today. I hope that you find yourself doing something that you really love soon.
Until my next project
Yes I am here with a card project – YEAH!!
I was inspired to make a card yesterday so I ran with it. I decided to use one of the new stamp sets that I bought a little while ago. Since it had been so long since I had created a card I decided to go to one of my favourite card sketch sites to get the creative process going. So here is the project that I made
Isn’t this just adorable. Sheep holding Song Books surrounded with Christmas Lights. I am having so much fun with this Baah Humbug stamp set from Lawn Fawn. The little song books are from Lawn Fawn as well and its from the Holiday Party Animal Set. The images were coloured in with my Copics.
Thanks for stopping by to have a look at my project. I would love to know that you stopped by so if you could leave a like and even a comment I would appreciate it. Have a great Christmas and New Years. I truly hope that during this hectic time you find some time just for yourself to do whatever you want to do.

Today I am sharing with you a card I made for a wonderful Aunt of ours who has just moved homes after living in her previous place for many decades. I wanted for her to find something other than official documents in her new post box.
I first inked up my page with Distress Inks – Crushed Olive and Mowed Lawn – with my Mini Distress Tool. Once this page was dry I ran it through my Cuttlebug with the Secret Garden Embossing Folder from Craft Concepts and then ran Memento Paris Dusk Ink lightly over the Embossed areas trying not to get it on the background.
I stamped the sentiment onto some White cardstock with some Pink Shimmer Ink and cut this out with my Scalloped Rectangle Die. I placed some blue ribbon from my stash on the card and then mounted the sentiment on some dimensional tape. I then added this to a top folding A5 White card base. I had a lot of fun making this card.

Til my next post,
May you always find time to be crafty.
Challenge I am entering:
Shopping Our Stash #235 – 3,2,1
3 Inks, 2 Dies, 1 Ribbon
Today post is about the latest weaving project that is on my SampleIt Loom from Ashfords and also a weaving hack or tip as well.
I am half way through the project but I still wanted to share my progress with you – here is a pic of my progress
In the beginning of January 2016 I decided that I was going to make something for Me. For me this is a very rare occurrence as I am usually making things for others. Well I am still doing some crochet as well. But this weaving project was going to be for me.
I had this book
and I have loved the look of many projects in this since I bought it. I had never tried any of them up until now. Unfortunately I didn’t have the same materials that Liz used but I had something similar. I so wanted to make the bag pattern that is included. So I went about reading the pattern and warping up my loom with the required length but I wanted to track my weaving progress because the whole bag is made on the same warp so I came up with this
I cut some strips of paper and joined them together until I had the length that was required in the pattern. I also marked out 10cm lengths and pinned it to the beginning of my project and the longest end. You can see by this picture above I have just under 1.1 meters to go. Now I know exactly how far it is to the end of this piece of weaving.
I will do another post once I have finished making the bag. Thanks for stopping by my blog today; if you liked my post please don’t forget to hit the like button and also leave a comment if you would like more information or anything.
Til next Blog,
May you always find yourself some crafty time 🙂
This morning I decided that I would craft a card just for fun. I didn’t want to have the constraints of time or deadlines; I just wanted to be free to make something and enjoy the creative process along the way. But my crafting MOJO just wasn’t playing along so I did what I have done in the past and looked for a sketch to start things off for me and I found this one
This is from September, 2015 but I just liked its simple layout. I thought this would be something I could give a go after not card crafting for awhile. So I dug through my stash of paper packs and decided to use the Hippy Girl Collection from Kasiercraft. I also dug out an image of a Butterfly from Meljen Designs which I had coloured in with my Copics last month and hadn’t found the right card for it.
I am really happy with the end result especially after having such a long break. I am hoping that I will be able to do more since my craft table was updated by my Hubby John. It was such a delight crafting at my new and updated desk.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and look at my project. To let me know you stopped in please consider liking this post or/and leaving me a comment.
Happy Crafting Always,

Today I am here to share with you my new desk that my Hubby made for me. Why was I in need of a new desk you may ask. Well I shall share with you a photo of my desk before the upgrade.
As you can see from this photo my desk which is marked by the green mat wasn’t very big. Every time I came to sit at my desk I felt very hemmed in. All I had to do was put a few things on the desk and I didn’t have any space to create … though I did; but not very often because of how I felt while sitting there. I mentioned this to my Hubby and he said that he could do something about it for me. So we went and bought the necessary wood for the new shelves and my Hubby set about making my new desk.
And here is my new desk … YAY!!! I painted my new desk and the pin board my favourite colour – Purple. The desk is so much bigger than my old one. Just taking out that middle upright has opened up my desk so much. I have some new wire baskets for some of my spinning supplies but on the shelf above the desk is my Fiber stash waiting to be spun and turned into projects. In this photo my spinning wheel is missing but the green mat down the bottom right is where it does sit.
I am looking forward to making my first project on this desk. I am not sure when that will be – at the start of Christmas School Holidays in my house – but I hope it will be soon.
Happy Crafting Always,
