Hello everyone. This morning I am here to share with you my make using the sketch from Michelle over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
This time around I made my card very close to the sketch. Some things are a little bit smaller or bigger but everything is there except the bow – I used a star instead. I thought that the star suited the main paper better. The flower is a die from Paper Rose Studio called the Alana Flower. It is a favourite in my collection and I have used some purple lightweight cardstock and some Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves was put around the edge of each piece with a sponge dauber. I used some holographic paper for the centre as this matched with the star.
Making a card with such softer colours was such a change to the last patterned papers that I had been using. I will be donating these to a challenge that donates care baskets to new parents and I thought a handmade card would be a nice thing to include.
Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card creation using the latest sketch from AHSC. I hope that you will come along and create with us and share your makes over on the challenge page.
Until my next page,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.
