Hello eveyone, we are here at the last challenge for April and this means that our hostess Branka was able to choose between a Technique or Stash Challenge. And we have

Branka has asked us over on the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge to only use stamping on our cards this time around – so no commercially printed papers.
To make this card with no commercially printed papers I decided to make my own 😉 using one of my favourite digital stamps from Bugaboo called “Christmas Tree Word Art” and this stamp makes for a quick make when you use it as a single stamp. Once I printed 2 copies of this page out I went about making a card based on the technique of Triple Time Stamping. Usually you would cut your panels and then temporally stick them together and then do the stamping. I thought that this would be an opportunity to show off this one stamp and maybe show you something different to use your pre-coloured digital images.
But since I was using digital stamps I printed 2 copies of the panel that I had made and then started the cutting using a die set from Paper Rose Studio called “Stitched Rectangle Australian Sized Nesting Dies”. I used the 3rd largest and the 4th smallest dies. Then layered each rectangle onto maroon layering cardstock and stuck each layer together carefully matching up the printed design with the layer below. Then I went through the Crisp Christmas Sentiment Sheets from Paper Rose Studio and found a sentiment that looked right just sitting by itself without a separate layer.
Thanks for stopping in and looking at my design team make for the 52CCT Technique Challenge for April. I hope that you will go and visit the other designers blogs and see how they made their cards and then consider coming and joining in on the fun and uploading your makes to our blog. Before you go off and do that though I would love to leave you with this last thought for this post.
Until my next post,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.
