52CCT October Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone, today I am here to share with you a Colour Challenge with the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge Design Team. It is week 2 of October and Branka is our hostess again. And these are the colours that she chose for all of us to have fun with.

02 Colour

This is definitely a different combination of colours to play with and I had some difficulty in trying to figure out how to use them. This is the card that I came up with.

52CCT 10 2019 wk2 Colour

While I was having problems with figuring out what to do I went looking through my images to see if one stood out for use with this combination. And then I found this adorable image “Meowy Christmas” by Jodi from Bugaboo images. And he is still available here. The one thing I like about this image is that you can colour this cat anyway you wish. So if you know who this is going to go to you can colour it like their cat to make it more personal. I chose to go with a Tortishell colouring because it helped with the challenge colours 😀

Thanks for stopping in at looking at my Design Team work for the 52CCT. I hope that you will come on over to our challenge blog and have a look and maybe even join in on one of our challenges. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Until the next time we meet, do what makes you happy,
❤ Tracy

Wee One Bug

Hello everyone, another card made from one of my images that I have watercoloured but this time around I have added some details with pens afterwards.

10 06 BugBoy

This cute little image is called Wee Little Bug from Bugaboo Digital Images and is still available. This card started with a sketch from Stella Says Sketch #716

But I will also be putting this card into the Anything Goes Challenge over at the Catch the Bug Challenge site.

I kept this card on the simple side because I wanted to let the watercolour image to be the main star. I had a lot of fun both colouring in the image and making up the card as well.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I appreciate all of the likes and comments on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought to ponder on.

If you want to add a little spring to your decor and love peonies as much as I do then you will love these free printable spring peony art in four quotes.

Until next time, enjoy the season you are in,

Fluttering Butterflies

Hello everyone, today I had some fun and pulled out my watercolour paints. I have just gotten into using these again after not using this type of medium since High School. But I used a digital image from Bugaboo Digital Images. And this is the card that I made.

10 06 Butterfly

Unfortunately, this image is no longer available but I love using it. The image only comes with 1 butterfly in the middle to get the other 2 I cropped the image and printed them at the same time on another piece of watercolour paper. This whole design was started by this sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #336.

I will also be entering this card into the Anything Goes Challenge over at the Catch The Bug Challenge site.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I really appreciate the likes and comments that I get on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Until next time, have fun doing what you love,

Baby and Bear

Hello everyone, the card that I have for you was made for the Catch The Bug Challenge. I am super pleased with how the card has turned out.

09 25 Its a Girl

The Catch the Bug Challenge is the September Bingo Challenge, these are fun to participate in because you have so many options.

For my card I went straight across the bottom. Even though this is a retired Bugaboo image I love using her as she is adorable sitting with her teddy friend. The papers that I used are actually from a card crafting magazine that I got quite a while ago but was sitting on my desk. The sentiment sticker has been sitting in my stash for ages but the gold stripes are actually new to my stash from a company called “Love From Lizi“. I love these but postage from the UK is a killer to the land of OZ – I got these when Lizi was offering free postage so I only had to pay for the product.

Thanks for coming on by my blog to have a look at my card project. I appreciate your visit and all of the likes and comments that I recieve on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Nice Cup of Tea

Until next time, find something that you love and go do it!

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone,
I am back in my craft space creating on and off again. Lately I am having to be more careful with what I do because of health restrictions this is a learning curve and I think that I am slowly getting used to my new restrictions.

But any who onto this card … I have always loved the fun sketches from Stella Says Sketch so I looked up their latest which is this one.
Stella Says 712

I can see that I will use this sketch many times because it suits the use of an image. And this is the card that I have made with the sketch.
07 18 Edward Wishes

I must admit that this is one of my favourite Bugaboo Digital Images. Well actually any of the images featuring Edward the Elephant I really love and this image is Edward Elephant – Flower. I have coloured him and the chick in with my Copic Markers then cut him out with my Scan N Cut. The papers are from Kasiercraft and the paper pack is called Hippy Chick which has been sitting in my stash of paper packs.

I want to thank you for stopping in and looking at my project. I hope you will stop by again sometime. Before you depart I would like to leave you with this last thought.

Flowers for You

Hello Everyone,
A second card for today. It’s so good to be in my craft space more often at the moment. So while this is the way of things I am making the most of it. And here is the 2nd creation for tonight.

01 06 brat boy mums day

I had coloured in this image ‘Kidz Rose Boy‘ by Bugaboo Digi Stamps with my Copic Markers then I thought that I would suit the sketch from Sketch Saturday if I orientated it differently.

sketch saturday545

The papers this time around is from my stash and I am unsure where I got it from. But again I used some Washi Tape which I adhered to white paper first for the banners. And once I adhered the image to the main panel I used my stamp platform to make sure that I didn’t miss stamp the sentiment at this point in the project. I wrapped a strip of silver around the top but didn’t realise that it wasn’t straight until after I adhered it to the card so I had to leave it as is.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. Please consider liking my post or even leaving a comment I like receiving feedback on my projects. And as always before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought.

miranda-hart quote

Sometimes I think that we look at ourselves too critically. And don’t realise how wonderful and unique we truly are. You are a unique creation of God – all you have to be is You.

Have a Happy Crafty Kind of Day,

Birdie Birthday

Hello Everyone,
I am back again with another creation.  This time I am using a previously used sketch from Freshly Made Sketch #318.

This sketch is really simple and that suits the recipient of this card down to the ground.  This card is actually going to my Husband’s Uncle.  I am the only adult in the family that is still allowed to address him as “Uncle”.  Everyone else over the age of 18 gets to address him by his given name but I have always addressed him as Uncle and I always will.

This card also follows the Catch the Bug Challenge December Bingo
as you can tell from the photo I used the top line for my BINGO.  I really like these challenges it makes you think about how to put your card together – with some guidelines.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creation.  As always before you leave my blog I would love to leave you with this thought:
Good to remember this in the hard times. Sometimes you have to face into the wind and  keep going.

Have a Happy Crafty Fun filled kind of Day,
