Hello Everyone. I hope that everyone is safe and well. As I am writing this South-East Queensland, Australia is going through terrible flooding again and my family is in quarantine. We all come out on different days as we tested positive on different days. I am spending the time both trying to deal with everything that goes along with this as well as my usual health issues. I’m keeping an eye on my symptoms and if they get worse then we will call medical assistance. As of when I was writing this my symptoms are mild just very annoying.
When I am able I am spending time in my craft space which is a good and bad thing because I have noticed so many things that still need to be fixed after my move in here just under 12 months ago. But anyway onto the card make for today. This one is for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge; I love Michelle’s sketches as placement of elements have already been taken care of for us.
The circle paper I actually made using 3 Distress Inks – Crushed Olive, Shaded Lilac, and Evergreen Bough with a stencil from Scrapmatts and a blending brush from Paper Rose Studios. I wanted to try out a new colour combo so I thought creating a background would be a way to have some fun and have something I could use on a card project. The dies and the sentiment are also from Paper Rose Studios, I used some of the Shaded Lilac and Crushed Olive on the die cuts just to make them more distinctive. In my plain paper stash, I went looking for some colours that would go well with my ink choice and I am satisfied with my choices.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card project using the sketch from AHSC #463. I hope that you will come and create along with us and share your makes over at our challenge blog. Before you leave my blog though I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.
Until my next post,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.
