Joint Bugaboo Challenges

Hello everyone. Yes, I am back with another project but this time it is a challenge which has combined 2 Bugaboo challenges together. One from the Catch the Bug Challenge and Stella Says Sketch but first onto the card.

04 23 Bug Bloom

As I said this card has come about because of 2 challenges and both from Bugaboo. This first is the Catch the Bug Challenge and this time it was a BINGO challenge

For the BINGO challenge I went with Flower, Bugaboo Image and Stitching. I did faux stitching using a pink pen. And then I used sketch #808 from Stella Says Sketch

It was a lot of fun combining these together I noticed that I didn’t put the sentiment in the same place I hope that this is ok. But I had already coloured and made stamped the sentiment before I saw this challenge, thought that it was still suited. The papers are from another partly used paper pack and I added some Nuvo drops just to add a little sparkle.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. To let me know that you stopped by today please consider leaving a comment or pressing the like button. Before you depart from my blog though I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

ANZAC Day Poster: ANZAC Day Poster for printing.
This 2020 ANZAC is very different. No marches, no parades, no gatherings but we will still remember them. We remember those that have gone before but also that are serving even now.

Until my next post,
🙂 Tracy

Candy Cane Elf

Hello everyone, today I am sharing with you a card that is combining 2 challenges from Bugaboo. One is from the Catch The Bug Challenge blog and the other is the final sketch from Stella Says Sketch for 2019.

12 10 Elf Candy

The image that I have used is Deacon on a Candy Cane. This is an older image from Bugaboo Digital Stamps but it’s still a favourite of mine. I coloured him in with my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils a little while ago and I thought he would suit this card. I decided to keep this card pretty simple as the background paper that I chose to use was quite busy.

Challenges I am entering…

Catch The Bug Weekly Challenge – December Anything Goes

and this sketch #721 from Stells Says Sketch

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card project. I have so much fun bringing these to you all. Before you depart my blog I would like to leave you with this final thought for this post.

Until my next post,
Remember you can start anew today…

Monster Sized Birthday

Hello everyone, it is so good to be in my craft space again and being able to craft. For awhile I thought that I wouldn’t be able to get back here again for quite some time but I have been blessed with a good day so I am taking advantage of it. And so I am here to share another card that I have made and this time around it is a combo of 2 challenges.

11 24 Monster Birthday

What started this card off this time was actually the November Colour Challenge from Catch the Bug. I had to search quite a way through my paper pads to find something that came close (I Hope) to the challenge palette

And then I found this sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #343. I use to be a part of their design team but due to life commitments, I had to step down earlier this year. But I still love playing along with the challenges.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card design. I really appreciate you stopping in and for all of the likes and comments that I get as well. They all help my growth in my card making. Before you depart my blog I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Bugaboo Bingo

Hello everyone, I am back this time with a crafty post for you. I have been able to get back into my craft space every now and again as I am recovering from my frozen shoulder. It’s definitely not where it was but it’s not where it was a week ago either.

But anyway onto the card that I was able to craft. I actually got to use supplies that were sitting around on my craft desk and they suited the Bingo Challenge over at Catch the Bug Challenge site. This is the card …

11 21 Cupcake Candy Cane

and this is the Bingo Challenge

for my card project, I used the bottom line – Ribbon, Button and Sparkle. The ribbon is self-explaining, The buttons are actually a die because I couldn’t find my button box, (it’s always the way isn’t it?), the sparkle on this card is quite subtle it is in the pink paper behind the image plus I put shimmer on the candy canes and then the sentiment.

This card is actually the start of my Christmas cards for 2020 🙂 I actually finished all the cards I need for this year –faints– oh don’t get me wrong this is wonderful but its also a shock because I am usually rushing trying to finish cards off.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card project. I am thankful for all of the likes and comments that get left on my post. And as always before you go I would like to leave you with this final thought to ponder on.

Purrrfect Birthday

Hello everyone, trying to make a card with not many colours makes it harder. But having a wonderful silhouette image to work with makes things much easier.

09-27-purrfect-birthday.jpg

And this cat silhouette image from Bugaboo was just the ticket. This card I will also be entering into 2 different challenges.

This bingo challenge from Bugaboo which I have used the right column and also a sketch challenge #355 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I really appreciate all of the likes and comments on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought to ponder on.

Never too late…

Until next time, find something that you love doing and do it,

Baby and Bear

Hello everyone, the card that I have for you was made for the Catch The Bug Challenge. I am super pleased with how the card has turned out.

09 25 Its a Girl

The Catch the Bug Challenge is the September Bingo Challenge, these are fun to participate in because you have so many options.

For my card I went straight across the bottom. Even though this is a retired Bugaboo image I love using her as she is adorable sitting with her teddy friend. The papers that I used are actually from a card crafting magazine that I got quite a while ago but was sitting on my desk. The sentiment sticker has been sitting in my stash for ages but the gold stripes are actually new to my stash from a company called “Love From Lizi“. I love these but postage from the UK is a killer to the land of OZ – I got these when Lizi was offering free postage so I only had to pay for the product.

Thanks for coming on by my blog to have a look at my card project. I appreciate your visit and all of the likes and comments that I recieve on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Nice Cup of Tea

Until next time, find something that you love and go do it!

Doggone Special

Hello Everyone,

I am combining 2 challenges this time around.
Catch the Bugs

and this Sketch Saturday sketch
Sketch Saturday 550Well with this combination this is the card that I came up with.

02-12-doggone.jpg

I had already coloured in this adorable puppy “Scruffy Puppy” by Bugaboo Digi Stamps with my Copic markers. I just added the hearts above his head and added the grass and clouds once I knew what I wanted to do with the image. I printed the sentiment on my computer because I couldn’t find something that I liked.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. Before you go I want to leave you with this thought

Flowers for You

Hello Everyone,
A second card for today. It’s so good to be in my craft space more often at the moment. So while this is the way of things I am making the most of it. And here is the 2nd creation for tonight.

01 06 brat boy mums day

I had coloured in this image ‘Kidz Rose Boy‘ by Bugaboo Digi Stamps with my Copic Markers then I thought that I would suit the sketch from Sketch Saturday if I orientated it differently.

sketch saturday545

The papers this time around is from my stash and I am unsure where I got it from. But again I used some Washi Tape which I adhered to white paper first for the banners. And once I adhered the image to the main panel I used my stamp platform to make sure that I didn’t miss stamp the sentiment at this point in the project. I wrapped a strip of silver around the top but didn’t realise that it wasn’t straight until after I adhered it to the card so I had to leave it as is.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. Please consider liking my post or even leaving a comment I like receiving feedback on my projects. And as always before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought.

miranda-hart quote

Sometimes I think that we look at ourselves too critically. And don’t realise how wonderful and unique we truly are. You are a unique creation of God – all you have to be is You.

Joy

Hello everyone,
I am back for a second card project for today. It’s so good to be able to have some time in my craft space. But this happens when you don’t have to do school runs and such 😉 And this is my card
12 19 Joy
I really had fun with this one and I think that I may redo this card a couple more times. The image is a digital stamp Christmas Word Joy from Bugaboo stamps. I use this image quite a lot because you can colour it to suit your papers, very handy that! And to start this card off came the sketch
Stella Says 620
And as I have been doing I have included the measurements to make a front for a A6 card. And also any mats are usually 0.5cm bigger.
The image I printed and coloured with my Copic markers and it is backed with a Christmas digital paper. Then I added this to a piece of shimmer Maroon paper and matted this with green paper. The poinsettia is a die cut that I had left over in my Christmas Stash.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. To let me know that you stopped by please consider leaving a comment. And before you go I would like to leave you with this thought
This is something that I hope to be able to do more of while I am not running to different things over this Christmas/New Year break. I want to do more reading next year – that is a goal for me.
Have a Happy Crafty Kind of Day,
😸 Tracy B
