Hello everyone. I had so much fun making my previous card that I had to colour another one of the fun cat images that I have. When I have some down time I colour images that make me smile and then I have images ready to put onto cards. I have 2 favourite mediums that I like to colour with – Copic Markers and Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. This image I coloured with my Copic Markers.
Then over at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge their theme for October is Christmas pets so I had the perfect image coloured for this challenge.
And if you been to my blog before you know that I love making cards using a sketch. So I searched my favourite sketch sites and found #536 by Sketch Saturday that I thought would suit my cute cat image.
The papers that I used are by Kasiercraft. This paper pack was called Mistletoe and the scalloped border came from this paper pack as well. The sentiment I actually made on my computer and printed it at the same time as the cat image.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and read my blog. And as always before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought
Oh this gave me just the giggle that I needed today. But I will admit that sometimes I am that person who does pull a push door. Have a great day no matter which side of this quote you are on.
Have A Happy Crafty Opposite Kind of Day,
Another Christmas card finished and I am really happy with how it turned out. On my Christmas card list is a bunch of cat lovers and I am sure one of them will love receiving this.
This card was actually inspired by 2 challenges. The bunch over at Time Out Challenges are asking us to be Colourful for challenge #120 and then I have found a lovely sketch site over at Feeling Sketchy and this is sketch #203
The first is the image from their site the 2nd is my copy with the measurements included.
I think that I have covered the Time Out requirements for being colourful. When I saw that challenge I thought of this image, I’m not 100% sure where I got this digital image from. But I printed it out and coloured it in with my Copic markers. The papers are from my Christmas stash which is shrinking a little but I need to shrink it a lot more.
Hope you like my take on both of the challenges. Thanks for stopping by and having a look at my project. And as always before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought
Oh Snoopy my pal you don’t know the half of it and its not even the end yet! This has been a really really rough week. Hope that your week is going a whole heap better.
Have a Happy Crafty Smooth Kind of Day,
I haven’t been on for a week – life was busier than I was expecting. I forgot about some appointments that I had until I got the reminder texts ….
Today’s card share is a 2 for 1 project. I combined 2 challenges into the 1 card – the challenges are Color Throwdown #490 and Card in Envy: It’s Birthday Party Time.
I really loved the color combo for the throwdown challenge and I knew that I had an image that would suit it wonderfully. It is a gorgeous free digital image from Wee Stamps called “Miss Kitty” And here is the project that I made with it …
Such a cute image. I coloured Miss Kitty using my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. The papers come from a Kasiercraft paper pack from my stash it had all of the colours together from the challenge combined in different ways.
Thanks so much for stopping by and having a look at my project. I really hope that you have a great week and as always before you go I wish to leave you with this thought:
Life can get in the way of things but you can get back to where you want to be. Tomorrow can and usually is different from today.
Have a Happy Moving Forward Crafty Kind of Day,
