A new card and a happy update. I am so happy to be able to bring another card to you. It is so good being able to do some of my normal activities without pain to go along with it. A corner is definitely being turned and I pray that this continues to be the case. Maybe my season of issues is going to be changing … soon.
Anywho … onto the card project.
As always I started with my favourite starting point – a card sketch. I went looking around and found the below sketch #509 from Sketch Saturday.
I had fun playing with this sketch and knew that I had an image already coloured and waiting for the right card to put it onto. And this is my project
This is an old image from All That Scraps a sweet pixie holding a bouquet. It has been a favourite of mine since I purchased her; this time around I have coloured her with my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. I am really enjoying colouring with these pencils. And being able to use up some of my papers from my scraps made me smile. I was so happy being able to find some scraps that co-ordinated with each other. Even my Cuttlebug got a bit of a workout with cutting the ring for the main image the inner circle I used for the greeting and then I used my scalloped circles to help define the circles.
MY Happy Update:
I am walking now without the boot that featured in this update (post) thanks to my Physio Jim better known to my family as Devil Incarnate. He is horrible because he can find where I am hurting the most BUT within 12hrs I am in a lot less pain. This is why I keep on going back to him. I have found that my foot has changed shape so I have had to buy new shoes … I detest shopping!
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project and as always before you leave I want to leave you with this last thought.
The seasons change and so do we – sometimes we see the change sometimes we don’t – we need to learn to grow and embrace change because it is going to happen!
Have a Happy Crafty Changing kind of Day,
