Boy or Girl Card 4 Mum

Hello everyone, as I mentioned in my last post I have a box of images that I have already coloured in with my colouring mediums. I was playing around with some papers that look like watercolour and I liked 2 of them that suited 2 cute Bugaboo images that were sitting in my box.

01 07 Mum Day 2 piece

Aren’t these adorable. I coloured in these images with my Copic markers. Unfortunately, these particular images are no longer available but there are still some really cute baby images over at the Bugaboo Shop. I may have to buy some of these myself but I definitely won’t be not using these anymore. I know that it seems early to be starting Mothers Day Cards but when you donate cards to organisations they need them earlier than the actual date in May.

These cards actually started with the 1st Challenge in January for the Catch The Bug Challenge which is “Anything Goes“. Thanks for stopping in and looking at my double card project. Now before you depart from my blog I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Live It Up Birthday

Hello everyone, it is time to play around with a new sketch. If you have been around on my blog before you will know how much I love using sketches in my card crafting. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been going through some images that I have previously coloured in and I am trying to use these on my projects.

This wonderful tiered cake image from Power Poppy Stamps called “Layered Cake Digital Stamp” was sitting in my box of already coloured stamps. And when I saw this sketch #350 from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge I knew that I was halfway to making a card.

Because I wanted this image to be the star of this card I kept the rest of the colours on the card quite simple. Plus I am trying to use up some of my started 6×6 paper pads so that I can buy some new ones.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. Before you depart from my blog I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Mothers Hold our Hand

Hello everyone, yes I know that the new year has only just started but if you are a crafter and you give your cards to charities especially those who give cards to our troops and others then we need to be crafting ahead of the occasions. So as you can see I have started my Mother’s Day cards for 2020.

01-07-mother.jpg

I have loved this Bugaboo Digital image for years and I use it quite often. And its called Words of an Angel and it is still available 😀 But this card started with the first sketch from Stella Says Sketch – Ready Steady Sketch #801

I coloured in this image with my Copic markers after I had found this wonderful watercolour type paper in my stash from The Paper Mill. I have matted this onto some 125gsm Purple Cardstock and used some of my Love from Lizzi Purple Pin Stripe Mirror Stickers in the medium width. In my stash was also these iridescent purple circles with gold borders so I used these and this finished off my card.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. Before you depart from my blog I would like to leave you with this final thought for this post.

Until my next post,
Enjoy your crafty endeavours.

Snow friend like you

Hello everyone, I don’t see a lot of snow where I live so I love looking at snowglobes. And I really like this one with these adorable critters inside. I thought that this would be perfect for the first day of Bugaboo Holiday Critter Chaos

This card started with the latest sketch from Stella Says Sketch #721

This background paper has been hanging out in my stash for a while and I thought that this would help with the snow challenge. I kept the colouring of the snowglobe simple using my copics and some light blue Distress Ink colouring as well.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card for the Critter Challenge. Before you depart my blog I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Until my next post,
Always move in a forward direction.

Blue Birthday

Hello everyone, today I am uploading a card that I made last night with a sketch from the Design Team at Sketch Saturday. Because if any of you have been around my blog before you know that I love crafting with sketches.

12-10-blue-flower.jpg

This is the sketch #593 from Sketch Saturday that I got to create with

This card is actually using up some of the last papers from a paper pack that has been sitting in my stash for ages because I didn’t really like the colours. But when I was looking for some papers to create with these ones grabbed me so I didn’t argue with them. Then I stamped the flower image on some mottled light brown paper and coloured it in with my Copic markers. I used some Nuvo Antique Gold Crystal Drops just to add a little something to a plainer card.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I am happy to be creating again even if it is sporatically. I am making the most of my good days so that I can rest on my not so good days and know that I will craft again in the future. Before you depart from my blog I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Roo Christmas

Hello everyone, today I am bringing you a card inspired by 2 challenges.

Over at Shopping our Stash it is Dare the Embossible Dream. Which means its time to share your embossing skills of any kind.  And then over at the Daring Cardmakers it is

So by combining these 2 challenges together I made a 1 layer card using a large image which is a composition of several digi stamps from Make it Crafty.

09 30 Roo Christmas

I think that this highlights an Australian Christmas. We don’t have any snow, it is usually blistering hot. But this Christmas I think that we would all love to have rain for our presents because we need a break in our drought. I think that when I coloured in this I was thinking of greener happier times in the western regions of Queensland.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card making project combining the 2 challenges together. I appreciate all of the likes and comments that my posts receive. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Birthday Bear

Hello Everyone,
Today I am sharing with you a card that I have gone down the clean and simple route with. This is definitely not my usual style of card. But of course this card started its life with a sketch and it is #578 from Sketch Saturday.

Sketch Saturday 578

And this is the card that I made with this sketch.

08 29 Birthday Bear

Isn’t this dapper bear just adorable! You can see that I have flipped the sketch to suit the orientation of the image. He is coloured in with Copic Markers. And the papers are from a very old My Mind’s Eye Paper pad that has been sitting in my stash part used. I think that I am going to try using up this paper pad by searching through my sketch archive.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creation for Sketch Saturday. I appreciate all of the likes and comments. Before you go I would like to leave you with this final thought.

Until Next Time,
