52CCT October Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone, It is the first week of October which means over at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge we have a sketch to play around with. And if you have spent any time here on my blog you will know how much I love using with my card making.

The beginning of the month also brings us a new hostess and this month we have Branka. And this is the sketch that she has given us to play with

And this is the card that I came up with

This time around I have gone with a digital image combination from NitWit Collections and this one is “Nitwitivity” and it is still available. The paper behind the circle is from my stash of Christmas papers. I put some Love From Lizi Gold Stickers behind the sentiment strip.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team work for 52CCT. I hope that you will come on over to our blog and maybe even participate in the fun challenges that we have going on over there. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought for this post.

Llama Peace Love & Hope

10 Llama Christmas.JPG

Hello everyone,
Today I am sharing with you a Christmas card made with my spinning friends in mind. We spin with a lot of different fleeces/fibres including Llama. So this will suit someone from my group.

The challenges I have combined are 52 week Christmas Card Throwdown Technique Challenge: Colouring and at Sketch Saturday Week #533 is Choose a previous sketch – I have chosen #316 which first appeared June 2014

For the sketch I have worked out the measurements in centimetres and they are written on the image these are for the main elements and then for the mats I added 2mm to each side. The Llama image from Just Me Digital Stamps on Etsy. I coloured in this image with my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils. I am trying to get better at using this medium and I am practising with these a lot more.

The papers that I have used for this card are from Kaisercrafts’ Merry & Bright 6X6 paper pad. The mats are made from maroon card stock plus some gold paper for the image just to help set it off a little more. A Christmas bauble and sentiment comes from the coordinating embellishment pack.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought:

#crafthumor #craftquotes #tayloredexpressions #cardmaking #crafting #sewing #scrapbooking #grumplings

I truly wish that this was the complete answer to everything it would make things so much easier. But crafting in some form or another does help.

Have a Happy Crafty of any sort Kind of Day,
❤ Tracy
