Aussie Birthday

Hello everyone, a birthday card with some Aussie friends on it. I have a wonderful paper pad from Kasiercraft that I am slowly using up because I love it so much and don’t want it to disappear quickly. This is the card I made with it.

10 06 Kooka Birthday

This card was inspired by a card sketch by the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge. Their sketch TMS#523 started this card off. And this is that sketch

I had a lot of fun creating with this sketch. I think that it will end up in my favourites pile for me to reuse at some stage. The 6X6 paper pad is called Open Road by Kasiercraft it is Australiana themed and I may have more than 1 pad in my stash 😉 It is unusual to find a paper pad for my country.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I appreciate all of the comments and likes on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought to ponder on.

Until next time, make the most of the life you are living,
❤ Tracy

Love Always Wins

Hello everyone, I am bringing you an anniversary card this time around. With anniversary cards I am always looking for a different way to present them. This card was inspired by a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketch #521 and here is the card that came from it.

09 22 Love Always Wins

I think that I was able to present a different anniversary card by the use of this sentiment. It is definitely different from the usual. And this is the sketch that I started with.

It is on the simple side of my usual style but I am really happy with how it turned out and I think this could go to anyone. Another thing that I am aiming for in my card making – cards that are suitable for multiple people.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I am glad that you decided to drop on by my blog today. Before you depart I would like to leave you with this last thought for you to ponder on.

Until next time, do something that makes you smile,
❤ Tracy

The 2’s Have It

Hello everyone, I have been having some fun this morning making some cards following some designs. And I am actually getting some time to upload them as well. This is a very unusual circumstance because sometimes I make cards but aren’t able to get the posts up as well.

But anywho onto the card project. I am following 2 challenges for this card firstly is the sketch challenge from Stella Says Sketch. Sketch #715.

and the 2nd challenge comes from Shopping Our Stash. This is my 2nd entry for their Dogs Day of Summer Challenge. And here is the card that I produced putting these 2 challenges together.

09 20 Teacup Pup

Isn’t this image adorable? This image combines 2 of my favourite things – Tea and Dogs. Unfortunately, this Bugaboo Digital Image is no longer available but I still love using this image. The papers are from the Kasiercraft paper pad called “Blae & Ivy”.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I appreciate you taking the time to stop on in on my part of blog space 😀 Before you go from here I would like to leave you with the last thought for this post.

52CCT September Colour Challenge

Hello Everyone,
It is the 2nd week of September which means over at the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge we are playing with colours. Myrna has actually chosen 2 colours for us to play with and they are

02 Colour

Sometimes being restricted by choice can be a good thing. And sometimes not so much! This is the card that I made using this colour combination.

52CCT 09 2019 wk2 Colour

This colour combo gave me a little trouble and the card that I produced wasn’t what I had intended but I am pleased with the results. The sentiment is printed on my computer using the words from a much smaller stamp – I wanted the sentiment to be the focal point of my card so I had to upsize the font. The papers that I used are from a paper pack by Kasiercraft called “First Noel” which came out last year. And I have used some of my new Love from Lizi stickers that I got in the post not that long ago.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team make for this weeks challenge over at the 52CCT challenge. I hope that we will see your project over there sometime. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone,
I am back in my craft space creating on and off again. Lately I am having to be more careful with what I do because of health restrictions this is a learning curve and I think that I am slowly getting used to my new restrictions.

But any who onto this card … I have always loved the fun sketches from Stella Says Sketch so I looked up their latest which is this one.
Stella Says 712

I can see that I will use this sketch many times because it suits the use of an image. And this is the card that I have made with the sketch.
07 18 Edward Wishes

I must admit that this is one of my favourite Bugaboo Digital Images. Well actually any of the images featuring Edward the Elephant I really love and this image is Edward Elephant – Flower. I have coloured him and the chick in with my Copic Markers then cut him out with my Scan N Cut. The papers are from Kasiercraft and the paper pack is called Hippy Chick which has been sitting in my stash of paper packs.

I want to thank you for stopping in and looking at my project. I hope you will stop by again sometime. Before you depart I would like to leave you with this last thought.

52CCT March Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever thought that you have completed something but realized almost too late that you hadn’t? That is how is was with my Design Team entry for 52 Christmas Card Throwdown March Sketch Challenge. I was convinced that I had completed my project and uploaded it and wrote the blog.  Well I got home and checked and I hadn’t so the card you are about to see was done in record time … but I did make it before the challenge went live so …. YEAH!

But anyway here is the sketch that we got to use with our host this month Goga.

This time I decided to stick pretty much with the sketch and this is the card that I came up with

The papers I used on this card and the collectables came from Kasiercraft and the pad was called Mistletoe. I bought this pad quite a while ago but I needed something that had everything already ready because I was short on time as I explained in the beginning and this suited what I needed perfectly.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my Design Team project. Please consider coming on over to the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown Challenge and entering in this weeks challenge. Before you go I would like to leave you with this final thought
