Roo Christmas

Hello everyone, today I am bringing you a card inspired by 2 challenges.

Over at Shopping our Stash it is Dare the Embossible Dream. Which means its time to share your embossing skills of any kind.  And then over at the Daring Cardmakers it is

So by combining these 2 challenges together I made a 1 layer card using a large image which is a composition of several digi stamps from Make it Crafty.

I think that this highlights an Australian Christmas. We don’t have any snow, it is usually blistering hot. But this Christmas I think that we would all love to have rain for our presents because we need a break in our drought. I think that when I coloured in this I was thinking of greener happier times in the western regions of Queensland.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card making project combining the 2 challenges together. I appreciate all of the likes and comments that my posts receive. Before you go I would like to leave you with this thought to ponder on.

Hello Everyone,
Yes I am back again. Yesterday was a productive day in my card making space despite the mess surrounding me at the moment. I wanted to keep crafting but was a little stumped as to what to create so I went to my favourite fall back – A Card Sketch!!

This is the sketch that created the most interest for me.
Sketch Saturday #524

I haven’t created a square card in ages and I loved all of the layers that this design had. But this is what I did come up with
07 2018 Carly Celebrates
To help me make this card I got out my stitched squares dies and started running the layers through my Cuttlebug. But as I started doing this I ran into a problem – my sandwich recipes weren’t working well. I just got through most of the layers when my machine didn’t want to do anymore 😥 I had to finish the cutting by my trimmer which is what I did on the sponged Barn Door Distress Ink paper.

So I would have to find a solution for my Cuttlebug problem BUT that is another post!

I had fun making this card despite the problem with my machine.  Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. And before you leave I would like to leave you with this last thought:
Live in what is happening around you
Be grateful for where you are – always! Some people don’t even get to be where you are even on your worst day and they would have wanted to be here instead of in Heaven.

Have a Happy Crafty
Grateful Kind of Day,
❤ Tracy
