Wee One Bug

Hello everyone, another card made from one of my images that I have watercoloured but this time around I have added some details with pens afterwards.

10 06 BugBoy

This cute little image is called Wee Little Bug from Bugaboo Digital Images and is still available. This card started with a sketch from Stella Says Sketch #716

But I will also be putting this card into the Anything Goes Challenge over at the Catch the Bug Challenge site.

I kept this card on the simple side because I wanted to let the watercolour image to be the main star. I had a lot of fun both colouring in the image and making up the card as well.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project today. I appreciate all of the likes and comments on my posts. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought to ponder on.

Feel Better

Hello everyone, another card for the Stella Says Sketch challenge just because I had time and I had the supplies in front of me 🙂

09 20 Feel Better

Yes, this is the same paper pad from my previous post. The Kasiercraft paper pad was still sitting on my desk so I thought why not make a 2nd card using the same supplies. The sentiment circle is a part of the pad but the sentiment is from the “On the Mend” stamp set from Lawn Fawn, which is available here, so are the 2 cute images. I also did a little bit of paper piecing which I haven’t done in ages.

And just to remind you here is the Stella Says Sketch #715

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I am glad that you decided to drop on by my blog. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last image to ponder on.

Until next time, do something that you love,
🙂 Tracy

The 2’s Have It

Hello everyone, I have been having some fun this morning making some cards following some designs. And I am actually getting some time to upload them as well. This is a very unusual circumstance because sometimes I make cards but aren’t able to get the posts up as well.

But anywho onto the card project. I am following 2 challenges for this card firstly is the sketch challenge from Stella Says Sketch. Sketch #715.

and the 2nd challenge comes from Shopping Our Stash. This is my 2nd entry for their Dogs Day of Summer Challenge. And here is the card that I produced putting these 2 challenges together.

09 20 Teacup Pup

Isn’t this image adorable? This image combines 2 of my favourite things – Tea and Dogs. Unfortunately, this Bugaboo Digital Image is no longer available but I still love using this image. The papers are from the Kasiercraft paper pad called “Blae & Ivy”.

Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card project. I appreciate you taking the time to stop on in on my part of blog space 😀 Before you go from here I would like to leave you with the last thought for this post.

Stamp Stash Diving

Hello Everyone. Today I decided to go diving into my physical stamp stash. I have so many and I just don’t use them. I seem to go down either a digital stamp that I have previously printed or no image at all. I am trying to find ways to get more space in my craft space so I have decided that if I am not going to use them then they can be donated to someone who will enjoy them.

But I am sure you know what happens when you start exploring your stash … yes, that’s right you find things that you still like to use. Anyway more on the treasures that I found later. I am here to share with you the card that was made with my finds. As with any of my cards this card started with a sketch and this one is from Stella Says Sketch #714.

It is such a simple sketch and usually, I would use a Bugaboo image but my stash was looking at me and I ended up making this card.

09 12 Zinnia Sympathy

I decided to make a sympathy card as my stash is lacking this type of card and you never know when you may need one of these … unfortunately. This stamp has been sitting in my stash for quite a while and I am unsure who made it but I still love it. The papers that I used are from a huge Recollections pack that has so much paper in it I think that I will split some of it up and give it away to someone else.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my card project. I really appreciate all of the comments on my blogs. Before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought for this post.

Flowers in a Teapot

Hello Everyone,
I really love this image from Bugaboo because it combines 2 things that I like … flowers and teapots. I don’t have much luck with growing flowers myself but I love them and in the past couple of years I have been liking the taste of tea more. I am slowly getting into the brewing from leaves, not just a teabag.

Anywho … this card was inspired by a sketch from Stella Says Sketch Challenge and this is it

This sketch made me dive into my dies to see what shapes I had and I found the one that I used which hadn’t seen the light of day in years. And this is the card that I made

08-29-flower-teapot.jpg

The image that I used is called “Flower Teapot” from Bugaboo Stamps. I have coloured this image in with my Polychromos Pencils. And cut the image out with die from Spellbinders – Nestabilities Labels Two. To make the border I traced around the die because the next die up made a mat way too large for the card. The papers I used are from Kasiercraft and a paper pack called “Blae & Ivy”. I used these papers because I thought they suited the teapot theme.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creation for the Stella Says Sketch Challenge. I really appreciate all of the like and comments on my posts. Before you go as always I would like to leave you with this final thought.

Yes! Yesterday gets the double middle fingers!!! Life is too short.

Until Next Time,

Thanks a Bunch

Hello Everyone,
Another card made from my scraps drawer. But this time I included a new to me image from Bugaboo Images called Flower Teddy. Isn’t he adorable?

07 29 Thanks a Bunch

I coloured in this adorable bear with my Copic markers. This card started with a sketch from Stella Says Sketch #712. And this is my 2nd creation with this sketch.

Stella Says 712

My card doesn’t match the sketch exactly but I do hope that it is still acceptable for the challenge. I was making this card away from my desk and didn’t have the sketch beside me and by the time I realized what had happened, it was too late. I still enjoyed the making of the card because I was able to dig into my scraps drawer again and be able to pull together another card from pieces that were just too big to throw away.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creation. I appreciate all of the likes and comments that I get on my posts. Before you go as always I would like to leave you with this last thought.

I'm listening...

Until Next Time,

Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone,
I am back in my craft space creating on and off again. Lately I am having to be more careful with what I do because of health restrictions this is a learning curve and I think that I am slowly getting used to my new restrictions.

But any who onto this card … I have always loved the fun sketches from Stella Says Sketch so I looked up their latest which is this one.
Stella Says 712

I can see that I will use this sketch many times because it suits the use of an image. And this is the card that I have made with the sketch.
07 18 Edward Wishes

I must admit that this is one of my favourite Bugaboo Digital Images. Well actually any of the images featuring Edward the Elephant I really love and this image is Edward Elephant – Flower. I have coloured him and the chick in with my Copic Markers then cut him out with my Scan N Cut. The papers are from Kasiercraft and the paper pack is called Hippy Chick which has been sitting in my stash of paper packs.

I want to thank you for stopping in and looking at my project. I hope you will stop by again sometime. Before you depart I would like to leave you with this last thought.
