Hello everyone, I had so much fun creating the last card that I decided that I would make a second one using the same sketch. And I also recycled the circle I had cut for the previous card and used it to make the frame on this card!
Just to remind everyone what CAS Game #123 from AAA Cards looks like here is the details
Again you can see that I created another A6 sized card. All of the products used on this card came from the Uniquely Creative Dreamy Card Kit plus Unicorn image came from the Stay Unique add on Stamp Set. The Unicorn I coloured in with my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils.
As I mentioned above the circle frame was made with the leftover circle from my previous card. To make this frame I used 2 dies – firstly I used a scalloped die and once I cut this I left the die in place and used Pinked Rashberry Distress Ink with a sponged dauber this left a nice halo which I was pleased with. I wanted to used the outer edge from the die cut but because it was so thin I was afraid that I would rip it when using my 2nd colour of ink. To prevent this I flipped the inked die cut over and replaced the outer cut back around the scalloped piece which gave it a bit of stablity then I carefully sponged Fired Brick Distress Ink.
I flipped it back over and placed the pieces together and placed some tape on the back to keep it together. To make the frame for my image I used a smaller circle die to cut out the centre. I backed this piece with some of the patterned paper from the kit then glued this whole frame down onto the pink textured card stock. Then added my Unicorn to the centre. The enamel dots are from the kit and the Happy Birthday is a sticker from my stash. And that completed the card.
Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project. This post is a little longer than usual because I wanted to let you know my process for producing the frame. But as usual before you go I would like to leave you with this last thought:
I try not to stay in the past for too long. But I do look back to see where I have come from.
