Hello everyone. Well we are very close to the end of the year now but creating for me never stops. I am taking the opportunity while life is a little slower to build up my card stash for both myself and donating. This card came about by a happy accident – I have been using this paper pad on and off for a couple of months as I have had to do Christmas creations as well 🙂 Then I saw this colour challenge on the Sunday Stamps Challenge Blog.

And some of the papers fitted the last 3 so then I thought how could I bring in the first 3 colours and I decided to colour up and image.
Working with the paper pieces I had I put this together and then stamped the sentiment and the floral image. This flower has been in my stash for years and I found it again after my craft room reshuffle and new stamp storage. I added some green but I think that I could be forgiven for adding this. I coloured in this image with my Faber-Castell Polychromos Pencils; I still have a love/hate relationship with this product but today we got along nicely. Now I have a birthday card ready for the 2022 year.
Thanks for stopping in and looking at my card creation for the Sunday Stamps Challenge #273. I hope that you have a fabulous day no matter what you find yourself doing.
Until my next post,
Be Kind to Yourself and Others.

Ha, I love your love-hate relationship comment – I know the feeling. Lovely coloring! The flower really pops on the dark background. Thanks for joining Sunday Stamps this week.

Very pretty, Tracy! Love your thought process as you built this card – and so fun to use supplies in unexpected ways! Gorgeous coloring on the flower, and I love those bright spots of blue! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!
